Creating a Business Document
Advance your Word proficiency in this intermediate-level course focused on document formatting. Dive deeper into the art of structuring and designing professional documents with advanced formatting techniques. Participants will reinforce their foundational skills while exploring efficient text selection, sophisticated character and paragraph formatting options, and the creation of multi-level lists. You'll learn to use the format painter to maintain stylistic consistency, set precise tabs and indents, and manage page layout settings, including margins, paper sizes, and orientation. The session also covers adding headers and footers for enhanced document organization and presentation.
- Create, edit, save, open, and close documents with increased confidence.
- Utilize advanced text selection methods for efficiency.
- Implement advanced character and paragraph formatting.
- Build multi-level lists and use the format painter for streamlined formatting.
- Set and adjust tabs, indents, margins, and page orientation to meet your needs.
- Incorporate headers and footers to improve document structure.

This course is delivered in partnership with local and provincial construction associations across Canada. You may be participating with a group of industry peers from multiple regions.

Refund Policy
COURSE REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS & REFUNDS:
Cancellations received at least 14 business days prior to the course will result in a full refund.
Cancellations received less than 14 business days but more than 7 full business days prior to the course are subject to an administration fee of $100 per day for full and half-day seminars, or $25 for breakfast sessions.
Registrants who do not show up for a course, and/or who do not notify CITN at least 7 full business days prior to the course date will be assessed the full cost of the course. There will be no refunds or credits in this case.
Substitution of attendees is permitted up to and including the day of the course.
COURSE CANCELLATION BY CITN:
CITN may have to postpone or cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment, in which case CITN’s liability will be limited to a refund of the registration fee.
