Master the essentials of Microsoft Outlook and discover how to streamline your communication, scheduling, and task management. This introductory course is designed for professionals who want to get the most out of Outlook’s full range of tools—email, calendar, contacts, and tasks. Participants will learn how to send and organize messages efficiently, manage attachments, set reminders and flags, and create appointments and contacts with confidence. By the end of this session, you’ll understand how to navigate Outlook’s features seamlessly, manage daily communications with ease, and stay organized across all aspects of your workday.

 

• Overview
 - Understand how Outlook is set up and the different types of information that can be tracked
• Email
 - File and manage messages using folders
 - Include and manage attachments being sent or received with messages
 - Create or modify a signature for e-mail
 - Create, edit, send, open, and manage messages
 - Set up and manage out of office messages
• Tasks
 - Learn to use the Todo bar to manage and organize all daily activities
• Calendar
 - Create and edit appointments or events in the Calendar
• Contacts
 - Create and modify contacts using the Contacts module
• Tasks
 - Create and manage Tasks

 

 

Delivery Method: Virtual Session – Zoom Meetings

Course Fee Includes:  Access to the course, course materials, and a digital certificate upon completion.

This course is delivered in partnership with local and provincial construction associations across Canada. You will be participating with a group of industry peers from multiple regions.

Sharing a single registration between two or more individuals is not permitted. Please register each person that will be in attendance.

Cancellation &
Refund Policy

COURSE REGISTRATION CANCELLATIONS, TRANSFERS & REFUNDS:

Cancellations received at least 14 business days prior to the course will result in a full refund.

Cancellations received less than 14 business days but more than 7 full business days prior to the course are subject to an administration fee of $100 per day for full and half-day seminars, or $25 for breakfast sessions.

Registrants who do not show up for a course, and/or who do not notify BCRB at least 7 full business days prior to the course date will be assessed the full cost of the course. There will be no refunds or credits in this case

 

COURSE CANCELLATION BY BCRB:

BCRB may have to postpone or cancel courses due to insufficient enrolment, in which case BCRB's liability will be limited to a refund of the registration fee.
